Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka PLC announced that Mr. N. De S. Deva Aditya who is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, exceeds sevanty (70) years in age. and as such no longer satisfies the criteria for determining independence set out in Rule 9.8.3 (ix) of the Listing Rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange with effect from 01 January 2025 and resolved to redesignate Mr. N. De S. Deva Aditya as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of the company with effect from 1 January 2025.
