Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka PLC reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2024. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was LKR 27,858.77 million compared to LKR 30,682.6 million a year ago. Revenue was LKR 10,587 million compared to LKR 14,098.27 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 3,679.06 million compared to LKR 4,912.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 0.8 compared to LKR 1.07 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was LKR 115,396.17 million compared to LKR 123,357.92 million a year ago. Revenue was LKR 45,877.08 million compared to LKR 56,958.69 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 14,268.33 million compared to LKR 18,843.36 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 3.1 compared to LKR 4.1 a year ago.
