LANGENZENN (dpa-AFX) - At least twelve people have been injured after a suspicious package was found at a DHL distribution center in Langenzenn near Nuremberg. Seven of them were taken to hospital, a police spokeswoman said. However, the number could still rise. Several employees complained of health problems.

According to initial investigations, a suspicious package was found in the morning. Its exact contents are not yet known. According to the spokeswoman, an initially unknown substance was released.

Police, firefighters, and hazardous materials specialists were dispatched to the scene, the spokeswoman said. The building was evacuated.
