Compass Group PLC announced the appointment of Mrs. Juliana Chugg as a Non-executive Director with effect from 26 September 2024. On appointment, Juliana also joins the Audit, Corporate Responsibility, Nomination and Remuneration Committees. Juliana is a seasoned non-executive director having had a successful international executive career as a transformative leader in the FMCG sector.
Juliana brings a strong international perspective with a passion for the food and food services industries, together with general management and marketing insights, and extensive US and board governance experience. Juliana is currently a non-executive director of VF Corporation, Darden Restaurants Inc. and Masterbrand Inc. She was a non-executive director of Caesars Entertainment Inc, until July 2020. Juliana is the former Executive Vice President & Chief Brand Officer of Mattel and has 18 years' experience in the food industry, having held several senior roles in Australia and USA at General Mills, the global food manufacturer.
