CME Group announced it will launch E-Mini S&P BMV IPC Index futures, pending regulatory review. The S&P BMV I PC Index, Mexico's main equity index, provides broad exposure to the Mexican equity market and tracks the most liquid stocks listed on Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV). The E-mini S&P BMV I PCR Index futures will offer market participants a more efficient way to access the Mexican equity market's overall performance via a single futures contract.
The contract will be denominated in Mexican pesos and will be listed on and subject to the rules of CME.
