Chevron on Friday said A. Nigel Hearne, executive vice president of oil, products and gas, is retiring in February after 35 years with the energy giant.
Chevron, which also announced plans to move its headquarters to Houston, said Vice Chairman Mark Nelson will take on the additional role of executive vice president of oil, products and gas on Oct. 1.
The company said Hearne, who has led the consolidation of its upstream, midstream and downstream businesses since 2022, will then serve as executive vice president and senior adviser until his retirement.
Hearne received a base salary of $1.04 million and total compensation of more than $10 million last year.
