BAE Systems: working on the fighter of tomorrow
The model features 'an advanced design with a larger wingspan to improve aerodynamics'.
Engineers from BAE Systems, Leonardo and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are collaborating on the design and development of the aircraft, using innovative digital tools.
BAE says that since the program was launched 18 months ago, 'significant progress has been made thanks to close collaboration between industrial partners and governments'.
The program, which is scheduled to enter service in 2035, is crucial to the security and economic prosperity of all three nations, and is expected to create tens of thousands of skilled jobs," adds the company.
