BAE Systems announces that the company has opened a Leadership Academy in Barrow (UK) dedicated to training in the design and construction of Royal Navy submarines.
The 1,500 m² site comprises 15 rooms, six coaching modules and two development areas, capable of accommodating more than 200 people and delivering 4,000 training courses per year.
The academy offers personalized coaching and practical training in advanced management methods. Steve Timms, Managing Director Submarines, emphasizes that "investing in our leaders is investing in our future."
This centre complements the SASK opened in 2018, the future Portland Walk experiential learning center, and the nearby Cumbria university campus, scheduled to open in September.
