Airbus has received a firm order from Starlux Airlines of Taiwan for five additional A350F freighters, doubling the initial order placed last year for this aircraft under development.
The A350F fleet will be operated by Starlux Airlines on some of the world's busiest airfreight routes. The company currently operates 26 Airbus aircraft, including the A321neo, A330neo and A350-900.
Equipped with the latest Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, the A350F will be able to carry up to 111 tonnes and cover up to 8,700 kilometers, while significantly reducing fuel consumption compared with the previous generation.
