Airbus announced on Friday that it had delivered 84 aircraft to 42 customers in November, while also noting that it had booked 30 new gross orders over the period.

At the end of November, the aircraft manufacturer had 643 annual aircraft deliveries on the clock, whereas it has officially set itself a target of around 770 deliveries by 2024.

Airbus will therefore need to sell at least 127 aircraft in December in order to meet its target.

Investors didn't seem to be too worried about this shortfall, as Airbus usually accelerates its deliveries in the last month of the year.

On the Paris Bourse, Airbus shares were up 0.9% in early trading on Friday morning, bringing their gains since the start of the year to almost 10%.
