(Alliance News) - Aeffe Spa reported Friday that it ended 2024 with revenues down to EUR251 million from EUR319 million.
Revenues from the ready-to-wear division fell 22% to EUR166.1 million while footwear and leather goods fell 25% to EUR106.2 million. Sales fell 21 percent in Italy, 22 percent in Europe and 21 percent in the Rest of the World.
Despite the decline in sales, the company reported significant increases in profitability: Ebitda rose to EUR84.7 million from EUR5.8 million, Ebit increased to EUR48.5 million from EUR27.1 million.
Net income also flew to EUR19.3 million from EUR32.1 million loss in the previous year.
The company invested EUR3.4 million in 2024, ending the year with debt lowered to EUR68 million from EUR152 milioin the previous year.
Also today, Giancarlo Galeone resigned from the company's board. Galeone does not hold shares in Aeffe nor is he due any severance pay.
Aeffe's stock closed Friday up 3.7 percent at EUR0.73 per share.
