Joe Biden a 'good friend' of Germany and Europe

"Joe Biden is a good friend of Germany and of Europe. I myself got along very well with him and I still do. He made a huge contribution towards the transatlantic cooperation making great progress which I find important for our common security. That was also of importance because we are facing new challenges due to the Russian war of aggression. It was important and still is important that we rearrange ourselves as allies."
Scholz, on a visit to the German army's mountain brigade in the Bavarian Alps, said the German-U.S. alliance was important "for our common security" in light of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Biden ended his reelection campaign on Sunday after fellow Democrats lost faith in his mental acuity and ability to beat Donald Trump.
