Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited has appointed Ankuur Rajesh Kapila as National Sales Head - ZEE5. In this role, he will lead sales strategy and revenue growth for the platform, driving market expansion and strengthening its digital business. Kapila brings extensive experience across media, digital, and revenue strategy.
Prior to this, he was associated with JioStar India Pvt. Ltd, where he led sports gamification initiatives for JioHotstar. He played a key role in scaling the 'Jeeto Dhan Dhana Dhan' platform during major cricket events, significantly enhancing fan engagement and watch time, while also driving monetisation through branded integrations and partnerships.
He has also held multiple leadership roles at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited across brand solutions, key account management, and content programming. His experience spans integrated platforms, content acquisition, and revenue-led brand solutions across television and digital. With a career spanning over a decade in the media industry, Kapila has worked across sales, content, and platform strategy, contributing to business growth and audience engagement across formats.
In his new role, he is expected to further strengthen ZEE5's market position and drive its next phase of digital growth.
