Yes Bank Ltd. has appointed Vinay Muralidhar Tonse as its new Managing Director (MD) for a three-year tenure, starting from the date he officially takes charge. The appointment follows approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Previously, Vinay Muralidhar Tonse was with the State Bank of India, where he served as Managing Director for Retail Business and Operations until November 30, 2025.
The bank had been looking for new leadership to drive its growth plans following the extended term of current MD & CEO Prashant Kumar.
