Vp appoints Alice Woodwark as chief executive officer

Vp PLC - Harrogate, England-based equipment rental company - appoints Alice Woodwark as chief executive officer. Woodwark's most recent role was a managing director at Mitie Group PLC, a London-based engineering, security, cleaning and hygiene services provider. Prior to that, she was managing director for the RA Group at Compass Group PLC.

Woodwark will assume the role on February 1, and work with Anna Bielby for a short handover period. In September, Vp announced Bielby was stepping down as CEO 'to pursue interests outside of the corporate world.'

"I am really looking forward to working with Alice and I am confident that her experience, values and leadership style make her an excellent choice to lead the group into its next phase," said Executive Chair Jeremy Pilkington.
