June 8 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Monday, as signs of easing tensions in the Middle East lifted sentiment after Iran said its first wave of attacks on Israel had ended.
At 9:30 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX Composite Index was up 0.2% at 34,511.23 points.
