(Alliance News) - Telecom Italia Spa announced on Wednesday that it is the first operator in Italy to offer Google AI Pro services to its customers, expanding access to artificial intelligence tools through a targeted partnership with Google.

Starting today, TIM is making Gemini's advanced features available to consumer customers via Google AI Pro and Google AI Plus solutions, 'in addition to offering extensive cloud storage space for work documents, photos, videos, and music,' the company specified.

In detail, TIM is offering Google AI Pro to fixed-line customers with an initial three-month free trial of Google Gemini's advanced models, 5TB of cloud storage, and sophisticated tools such as Deep Research for in-depth queries. The package also includes enhanced NotebookLM for converting documents into audio podcasts, videos, and interactive maps, advanced multimedia content generation capabilities, and premium services for entertainment, wellness, and smart home integration.

Following the three-month trial period, the subscription will be priced at EUR21.99 per month.

Meanwhile, Google AI Plus, available to all TIM fixed and mobile customers, includes 2TB of cloud storage and core artificial intelligence features at a cost of EUR9.99 per month.

Telecom Italia shares were trading up 0.5% at EUR0.73 per share on Wednesday.
