TechnipFMC
has won a contract valued between $75mn and $250mn with Brazilian
oil company Petrobras for the supply of subsea production systems,
the company said, OE reported.
The award
follows a competitive tendering process and includes the design,
engineering, and manufacturing of subsea production systems for
greenfield developments, brownfield expansions, and asset
revitalisation projects across Petrobras’ portfolio.
The
contract also covers installation support and life-of-field
services, with options for additional equipment and services. All
systems will be manufactured and serviced in Brazil.
Jonathan
Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC, said: “Leveraging our
industrialized operating model, we can standardize innovative
solutions and deliver the schedule certainty that Petrobras expects
on its projects. We look forward to creating new value together as
we build on our decades-long relationship as a trusted local
partner.”
The award
follows two subsea contracts secured by TechnipFMC with Petrobras
about 20 days ago for the supply of flexible pipe across multiple
basins.
The
companies have also begun a pilot project in Brazil to test new
electric actuation technology, which is expected to be included in
TechnipFMC’s eSolutions portfolio. The technology is slated for
integration into a subsea tree planned for installation in
2026.
