Synectics plc announced that it has secured new contracts demonstrating continued new business momentum across key growth regions and verticals. Extending into new sector in Southeast Asia Synectics has signed an agreement with a Southeast Asian government department to enhance and maintain a traffic monitoring camera system in-country. This project marks a significant milestone for Synectics, as the first contract within the transport vertical in Southeast Asia and is expected to be delivered in fiscal year26.

As part of the contract, Synectics will provide an enhanced security and surveillance solution to monitor over 2000 video channels, along with control and storage hardware for the command centre. The system will provide real-time video to traffic operators based in a centralised location, enabling them to assess conditions and implement traffic management plans during incidents and major events. In addition, Synectics has secured a further two contracts to supply its COEX camera range to a renewables project in the Netherlands, which aims to harness offshore wind energy in the Dutch and German North Sea.

Synectics' specialist security and surveillance technology will be installed on two additional offshore substation platforms, providing continuous monitoring of mission-critical areas and operations to reinforce safety and security.
