Suzuki Receives "Corporate Innovation Award" at Plug and Play's Silicon Valley November Summit 2025

Suzuki Motor Corporation has received the "Corporate Innovation Award", which recognizes companies that have achieved outstanding accomplishments, at the Silicon Valley November Summit 2025 (Silicon Valley, USA / 19-21 November), hosted by Plug and Play, LLC (hereinafter, "Plug and Play"). This marks Suzuki's second time receiving this award, having previously been honored in 2022.

Plug and Play, a global innovation platform, was founded in 2006. The company connects diverse stakeholders, including startups, corporations, investors, universities, and government agencies, to accelerate innovation worldwide. The Silicon Valley Summit, organized by Plug and Play, is one of its largest biannual events, bringing together over 4,000 innovators from more than 20 industry sectors such as Mobility, AI, Energy, and Deep Tech.

Since establishing its presence in Silicon Valley in 2016, Suzuki has utilized Plug and Play as a base for its activities. This has involved promoting collaboration and investment with numerous startups, and driving initiatives from PoCs (Proof of Concept) to full implementation across the entire company. The "Corporate Innovation Award" specifically recognized Suzuki for the following:

• Outstanding leadership in the Mobility sector and its contribution to the creation of future mobility through the promotion of collaboration with advanced startups.

• A forward-looking investment strategy and open innovation stance, driven by both the promotion of company-wide innovation and external collaboration.

Suzuki will continue to put its corporate slogan "By Your Side" into practice, working with partners who share our values to become a sustainable infrastructure mobility closely connected with people's lives.
