Ahead of Wednesday's half-day session, the Stockholm Stock Exchange appears set to open in positive territory.

On the corporate front, a CEO transition at Tele2 has been announced alongside a flurry of interim reports. New data from the Stilindex showed that sales of clothing and footwear rose slightly in April.

Global news flow has been relatively thin. Market focus remains on the U.S. delegation led by Donald Trump, which arrived in China yesterday.

Euro Stoxx 50 futures are up 0.88 percent, FTSE 100 futures have gained 0.54 percent, and DAX futures are trading 0.81 percent higher.

U.S. S&P 500 futures are up 0.17 percent.

Telecom operator Tele2 announced that CEO Jean Marc Harion will step down for personal reasons on June 30 this year. The Board has appointed Nicholas Högberg as the new President and CEO, effective July 1. Högberg is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for the consumer business, and a former board member of Tele2.

A significant insider purchase in Essity has been disclosed. Major shareholder Industrivärden has acquired 900,000 shares for a total of 222.7 million kronor.

Technical trading group Bergman & Beving's adjusted EBITA for the fourth quarter (January to March 2026) beat analyst expectations. Revenue was in line with consensus. The Board proposes an increased dividend of 4.20 kronor per share.

Tech company Precise Biometrics reported a positive adjusted EBITDA for the first quarter. The company is currently facing a merger with Fingerprint Cards.

Newly listed Morrow Bank reported a profit of nearly 70 million kronor for the first quarter. As the bank is a new establishment, there are no direct comparative figures for previous periods.

Research company Oncopeptides saw revenues rise sharply to 25.4 million kronor in Q1. The operating loss narrowed to -37.5 million kronor.
