A downward trend is expected at the opening of the Stockholm Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

This morning's news flow highlights two major ownership changes involving listed companies. Meanwhile, Clas Ohlson has reported its fourth-quarter results and raised its operating margin target.

On the international front, the US continues to strain global relations. The country's Trade Representative is proposing new tariffs of up to 12.5 percent on imports from 60 economies. The proposal includes China, the EU, and Japan, among others.

Euro Stoxx 50 futures are down 0.36 percent, FTSE 100 futures are retreating 0.28 percent, and DAX futures have declined 0.39 percent.

Home improvement chain Clas Ohlson reported an operating profit slightly below market expectations for the fourth quarter of the broken fiscal year 2025/26. The board proposes a total dividend of 14.00 SEK per share, compared to the Factset consensus of 9.62 SEK per share. Clas Ohlson also raised its operating margin target to approximately 12 percent, up from 7-9 percent.

Finnish pension insurance company Varma has, as planned, sold approximately 40.6 million shares in the real estate company Atrium Ljungberg. The price was set at 27.35 SEK per share, representing a discount of approximately 7 percent to Atrium's last closing price. The total transaction value amounts to approximately 1.11 billion SEK. Following the divestment, Varma no longer holds any shares in Atrium, having previously been the fourth-largest shareholder.

Investment company Ratos has divested 9 million shares in the construction company Sentia, corresponding to approximately 9 percent of the share capital and voting rights. The shares were sold to institutional investors at a price of 72.40 NOK per share on the Euronext Oslo Børs. Gross proceeds from the transaction amount to approximately 652 million NOK. Following the sale, Ratos holds approximately 30.8 percent of the shares and votes in Sentia.

Climate control company Munters has acquired British firm Optifarm, a provider of AI-based solutions for livestock monitoring. The acquisition is intended to strengthen the offering in operational intelligence under the Speria brand, part of the FoodTech business area.

Medical technology and cybersecurity company Sectra has received orders from Swedish authorities valued at approximately 120 million SEK regarding secure communications.

Mining company Lundin Gold is trading today ex-rights to shares in LunR. This follows the completion of the previously announced transaction where LunR Royalties acquires a life-of-mine silver stream from the Fruta del Norte mine in Ecuador in exchange for newly issued shares in LunR.

Analyst activity has been quiet this morning. SB1 Markets initiated coverage on Hexatronic with a neutral rating and a target price of 47 SEK.
