(Alliance News) - Stellantis NV on Wednesday unveiled the first official images of the Fiat Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, two new models designed to bolster the brand's presence in the C-segment.

The two vehicles, developed on a shared global platform, will sit alongside the Grande Panda and represent a further step in Fiat's strategy within the family mobility market.

'Grande Panda marked Fiat's return to affordable family mobility. With Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, we complete this range with two cars designed around different needs and lifestyles, yet united by the same principles: smart, accessible mobility rooted in Fiat's design DNA,' said Olivier Francois, CEO of Fiat and Global CMO of Stellantis.

The Grizzly is positioned as a versatile, family-oriented SUV, while the Grizzly Fastback focuses on a more dynamic and sophisticated style.

Both models will be available with a full range of powertrains, from petrol versions to fully electric variants. The vehicles measure less than 4.5 metres in length.

Stellantis shares were trading down 4.7% at EUR6.315 per share.
