SSE Expects Adjusted Earnings Per Share to Fall

SSE said it expects full-year adjusted earnings per share to fall.

The U.K. energy group said Wednesday that it expects adjusted earnings per share for fiscal 2026 to be between 144 pence to 152 pence ($1.97-$2.08). This compares with 160.9 pence it reported in March 2025. The company said its outlook reflects strong operational performance against mixed weather conditions.

SSE backed previously issued guidance for each of its business units. It said guidance is subject to weather, market conditions and plant availability over the remainder of the year.

SSE said its regulated networks businesses delivered a 64% rise in investment over the first nine months of the fiscal year.
