Singapore Exchange Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Han Kang Teng, Ivan as Chief Risk Officer. The appointment was approved by the Nominating & Governance Committee. Mr. Han will assume the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) designate with immediate effect and will fully assume the CRO role effective April 1, 2026.
Mr. Han joined SGX Group in 2013 as the Head of FX & Rates and later became Head of South Asia Equities products. He brings extensive leadership experience across risk management, derivatives markets, and strategic development. In his role as Deputy Chief Risk Officer, Mr. Han oversees financial and clearing house risk frameworks and management, and regulatory engagements with MAS and global authorities.
He also has strong stakeholder management skills. Mr. Han holds a Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University, USA. Present directorships include BidFX Systems Pte.
