The Stockholm Stock Exchange closed virtually unchanged on Friday. The development in Stockholm mirrored that of the leading European exchanges. The main focus was on Betsson, which plummeted sharply after issuing a profit warning for the fourth quarter.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated in the afternoon that the United States may impose new tariffs on countries that do not follow the U.S. stance on the Greenland issue.

At closing, the OMXS30 index was up 0.08 percent at 3 039.09. Shares worth approximately 26.3 billion kronor were traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

The best-performing major industrial sector was energy, up 1.5 percent. On the other end, raw materials were at the bottom with a decrease of 1.4 percent.

Among the leading stocks included in the OMXS30 index, Saab B rose 1.8 percent while Atlas Copco A was up 1.6 percent. The worst performer was Boliden, down 3.9 percent, while Hexagon B dropped 1.4 percent.

Betting company Betsson reported preliminary figures for the fourth quarter indicating a decrease in both revenue and operating profit. Revenues are expected to reach 304 million euro (307), and operating profit to be 53 million euro (70). According to two Bloomberg estimates, revenue was anticipated at 319.6 million euro and operating profit at 70.4 million. The stock plunged 21.1 percent.

Oncopeptides increased its sales by 88 percent to 19 million kronor in the fourth quarter. The company now expects to achieve positive cash flow in 2027, compared to the previous forecast of late 2026. The stock fell 20.6 percent.

Medical technology company Elekta has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the Elekta Evo CT-Linac. This means the system will now be available to radiation oncologists in the United States. The stock rose 3.4 percent.

Terranor has won a two-year contract with the Swedish Transport Administration, running from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2028. The agreement is valued at 33.4 million kronor for the entire contract period and includes an option for an additional two years. The stock fell 0.2 percent.

In today's analyst updates, Kepler Cheuvreux downgraded its recommendation for Volvo to hold from buy. The stock fell 1 percent.

Boliden's share price was hit after SEB downgraded its recommendation to hold from buy. The stock dropped 3.9 percent.

Atlas Copco rose 1.7 percent after Nordea upgraded its recommendation to buy from hold.

ABG downgraded Noba to hold, and the stock fell 5.3 percent.

For Kambi, Aktiespararna set the recommendation to buy, but the stock was down 1.7 percent.

Vitec increased 0.2 percent. SEB upgraded its recommendation to buy from hold.

EFN advised buying Karnov, which closed unchanged.

NCAB rose 6.4 percent after Pareto upgraded its rating to buy from hold.
