Chicken producer Scandi Standard's major Portuguese shareholder, Grupo Lusiaves, continues to increase its stake, according to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's transparency register.

The latest transaction took place on May 29, when the company purchased 4,000 shares at a price of SEK 138 per share, totaling SEK 552,000. The trade was executed on Nasdaq Stockholm.

Following this acquisition, Grupo Lusiaves holds 14.09 million shares, representing 21.32 percent of the capital and voting rights in Scandi Standard, making it the company's largest single shareholder, according to the ownership tracking service Holdings.

The investment firm Öresund, led by Mats Qviberg, remains the second-largest shareholder. Together, Öresund and the Qviberg family control a larger combined stake than Grupo Lusiaves.
