Samsung Securities Co.,Ltd., Samsung SDS Co., Ltd. and Samsung Card Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire 4% stake in Dunamu Inc. for approximately KRW 610 billion.
Samsung Securities Co.,Ltd. (KOSE:A016360), Samsung SDS Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A018260) and Samsung Card Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A029780) agreed to acquire 4% stake in Dunamu Inc. for approximately KRW 610 billion on May 29, 2026. A cash consideration of KRW 612.8 billion will be paid by Samsung Securities Co.,Ltd., Samsung SDS Co., Ltd. and Samsung Card Co., Ltd. As part of consideration, KRW 612.8 billion is paid towards common equity of Dunamu Inc. Samsung Securities plans to strengthen collaboration with Dunamu across the entire spectrum of digital assets, including the issuance and distribution of token securities and virtual asset services. Samsung SDS plans to strengthen its next-generation digital financial infrastructure business by combining its capabilities in AI, cloud, security, and data management with Dunamu's blockchain operation know-how.
Samsung Card will cooperate in supporting digital asset payments and building a distribution ecosystem on platforms such as the Samsung Financial integrated app, Monimo, upon the introduction of a Korean Won stablecoin.
Samsung SDS Co Ltd is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the provision of information technology (IT) services. The Company operates its business through two segments. The IT Services segment is engaged in the provision of consulting and system integration (SI) services, application outsourcing and infrastructure services. Consulting and SI services include manufacturing IT services and big data, application mobile solutions. Application outsourcing and infrastructure services include data center, network, and cloud services. The Logistics Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) segment is engaged in the provision of global fourth-party logistics services including transportation, storage, unloading and management of goods.
