He is on the Board of Directors at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Conservation International Foundation and American Museum of Natural History.
Mr. Altman was previously employed as Vice Chairman by Blackstone Corporate Private Equity, Vice Chairman by The Blackstone Group, Inc., Assistant Secretary by US Department of The Treasury, and a Trustee by MIT Corp. (US). He also served on the board at Lehman Brothers Asset Management LLC.
He received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from The University of Chicago.
