At defense contractor Rheinmetall, Board Member and Labor Director Ursula Biernert-Kloß is stepping down from her position ahead of schedule.
Biernert-Kloß, who has served on the board since October 2024, has reached a mutual agreement with the supervisory board to resign at the end of the month, Rheinmetall announced on Thursday. "The reason is differing views regarding strategic issues," the company stated, without providing further details. Vera Saal will join the board on September 1, taking over responsibility for human resources and assuming the role of Labor Director. Saal, 47, has been with Rheinmetall for 15 years. Biernert-Kloß was originally appointed to serve until September 30, 2027.
