Private Debt: Eurazeo closes EPD VII fund at 3.9 billion euros
Eurazeo has announced the final closing of Eurazeo Private Debt VII (EPD VII), its private debt fund, at 3.9 billion euros. EPD VII significantly exceeded its initial target of 3 billion euros. This success illustrates investors' renewed confidence in Eurazeo's Private Debt strategy and reflects continued strong interest in the European lower mid-market segment.
This new vintage brings the total size of the seventh program to 5.5 billion euros, which includes nearly 1 billion euros raised from private clients, alongside commitments and mandates from institutional investors.
International investors account for more than 60% of commitments, confirming the growing interest in the fund, particularly in North America and Asia, from investors seeking diversified exposure to European private debt.
With over 70 companies already financed across Europe, EPD VII is 65% deployed, representing 2.5 billion euros in committed capital. Furthermore, EPD VII follows in the footsteps of Eurazeo Private Debt VI, which reached 2.3 billion euros at its final closing in 2023.
Assets under management for the Private Debt strategy now exceed 11 billion euros, representing 29% of Eurazeo's total assets under management, confirming the central role of this strategy within the group's global platform.
