OQ Base Industries (SFZ) SAOG, formerly known as OQ Methanol (SFZ) SAOC, is an Oman-based petrochemical company which is engaged in the manufacture of basic organic chemicals and petrochemical products. It is also involved in the extraction and refining of propane and butane from the country's oil and gas resources. The Company operates through two segments: Methanol Integrated Plant, which produces and sells methanol and ammonia products; and LPG Plant, which produces and sells LPG products. The Companyâ€™s product portfolio includes methanol, ammonia, propane, butane, condensate, and LPG (cooking gas). The Company has one subsidiary: OQ Trading Limited (OQT).
