The price of fresh or chilled salmon stood at NOK 89 per kilogram during week 14, representing a 1.6 percent decline from the previous week, though remaining up 16.7 percent year-on-year in Norway.
Frozen salmon saw a sharper contraction, falling to NOK 64 per kilogram, down 13.8 percent for the week and 16.4 percent compared to last year.
Export volumes of fresh salmon retreated to 16,503 tonnes, a 22.5 percent drop from the prior week and 13.4 percent lower than the same week in 2023.
Frozen salmon exports slumped to 208 tonnes, marking a 71.7 percent decline on a weekly basis and a 66.0 percent decrease year-on-year.
