Spanish insurer Mapfre reported on Thursday a 23.6% increase in its net profit for the first half of 2025, fueled by improvements in its non-life insurance segment, whose profitability surged by nearly 69%.
The company's net profit reached €570.4 million ($59.21 million), compared to €461.6 million recorded a year earlier, according to local accounting standards.
Premiums rose by 5.3%, totaling €15.95 billion, up from €15.15 billion in the same period last year.
