Telecom equipment maker Nokia is launching new agentic AI capabilities for fixed broadband and home networks, according to a press release.

The solution is designed to help operators automate the operation, troubleshooting, and deployment of fiber and Wi-Fi networks. Nokia states that the technology leverages insights from over 600 million installed broadband lines and is intended to enhance customer experience, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

The AI features are integrated into Nokia's Altiplano, Corteca, and Broadband Easy platforms, covering automated fault analysis, AI-assisted technician support, and real-time network monitoring. According to Nokia, the technology can contribute to faster issue resolution and fewer repeat customer visits.

The company also emphasized that operators will be able to utilize their own AI models and data sources through an open and secure architecture.
