French jet engine maker Safran plans to invest 200 million in manufacturing in Morocco in a bid to establish the North African country as one of five, capable of aircraft engine production and assembly. Meanwhile Morocco plans to increase next year's budget for social services, following a wave of youth-led protests against spending for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
