The Stockholm Stock Exchange has climbed nearly 6 percent since the start of the year, defying geopolitical tensions, rising oil prices, and persistent uncertainty regarding inflation and interest rates. Meanwhile, the global AI rally has spilled over into the Swedish equity market. Dagens industri has consulted three market professionals who recommend 15 stocks for the summer season. The list comprises 14 companies, as two experts have highlighted Ambea.

'Two very distinct themes are currently dominating the market. One is the situation in Iran and the Strait of Hormuz. The other is the optimism surrounding AI investments and the expansion of AI infrastructure and data centers,' says Anna Jakobson, manager of the Alfred Berg Sverige Gambak fund.

Anna Jakobson's picks include Scandic Hotels, Mildef, Securitas, Bonesupport, Attendo, and Ambea, all of which are holdings in the equity fund she manages.

Robert Oldstrand, strategist at Swedbank, sees continued upside potential for the market during the summer, particularly if geopolitical tensions ease. His recommendations include AQ Group, Addlife, Bravida, Ambea, Asmodee, and Volvo.

Mattias Eriksson, manager at PAM Capital, adopts a more cautious stance toward the market this summer. He points to risks such as higher inflation and rising costs throughout the remainder of the year. Eriksson's stock picks are Dynavox, Proact, and Raysearch, all of which are included in the fund he manages.
