Malayan Banking Berhad announced that it will officially move its head office from Menara Maybank in Jalan Tun Perak to Menara Merdeka 118 Kuala Lumpur, effective May 6, 2026. At its new head office, Malayan Banking Berhad will occupy 33 floors and will house approximately 7,000 employees, which will be accessible by a dedicated entrance for the convenience of employees, customers and visitors. Also relocating to the new head office are certain Malayan Banking Berhad subsidiaries including Maybank Islamic Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad.
The move will be on a staggered basis. The new registered address of Malayan Banking Berhad will be Level 70, Menara Merdeka 118, Presint Merdeka 118, 50118 Kuala Lumpur. KL Main Branch remains fully operational at the current Menara Maybank and there will be no impact on customers who have accounts in this branch until further notice.
