Investment firm Industrivärden, a major shareholder in Volvo, purchased 900,000 B-shares in the truck maker on Monday, according to filings with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's insider register. The shares were acquired across multiple trading venues for a total consideration of approximately SEK 290 million, at an average price of SEK 322.04 per share.

Industrivärden remains Volvo's largest shareholder, holding 9.66 percent of the capital.
