We're talking about over $124,000 billion in market capitalization, according to Bloomberg data (see chart). This data includes market capitalization calculated on the basis of all outstanding shares (only primary stocks actively traded on the country's stock exchanges, to avoid double-counting). The previous peak in October 2021 was around $123,000 billion. For information, the world's largest listed company, Apple, weighed in at $3,463 billion on 09/30/2024. It therefore represents 2.8% of this total. The total value of the US equity market is around $58,000 billion, or 47% of the total.
