Since 2012, Vista has operated 29 taxi shelters in Tokyo, representing 58 advertising faces, including 7 digital displays. These assets are primarily located in high-traffic districts such as Shibuya, Roppongi, Shinjuku, Shinagawa, Akihabara, and Ueno.

This acquisition will strengthen JCDecaux's presence in Tokyo through its joint venture, MCDecaux, and marks its entry into the Japanese taxi shelter segment. The move complements its existing portfolio of over 850 B-Stops in the Japanese capital.

MCDecaux currently operates B-Stops and City Information Panels (CIPs) across 43 cities in Japan, including the 10 most populous: Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Kawasaki, Kobe, Kyoto, and Hiroshima.

"By becoming the leading taxi shelter operator in Tokyo, MCDecaux is reinforcing its position in a benchmark market at the heart of one of the world's largest metropolises," noted Jean-Charles Decaux, Co-CEO of JCDecaux.
