Research company Irlab Therapeutics announces that it will present three abstracts at the AD/PD 2026 conference in Copenhagen, focusing on Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases.
Among the highlights are new analyses from the Phase IIb React-PD study of the drug candidate pirepemat, where optimal plasma concentration showed a statistically significant 31 percent reduction in fall frequency compared to placebo, corresponding to approximately seven fewer falls per month. Irlab reiterates that the results support the continued development of pirepemat.
The company is also presenting progress within its AI and machine learning-based research platform, ISP, which is used to identify new drug candidates for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.
Additionally, an observational study on the use of amantadine for levodopa-induced dyskinesia will be presented, showing that approximately 30 percent of patients were treated and one-third later discontinued the treatment.
AD/PD takes place from March 17-21.
