Research company Irlab Therapeutics reported increased revenue in the first quarter compared to the same period last year. Operating profit swung to a positive result.

Revenue rose sharply to SEK 39.4 million (4.4).

'The Group's income for the first quarter of 2026 amounted to TSEK 40,504 (8,057), of which TSEK 39,361 (4,360) is net revenue consisting of a milestone payment from MSRD of USD 3 million, equivalent to TSEK 27,101, and service income of TSEK 12,260. The remainder consists of other income comprising currency effects in 2026 and grants from the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2025,' the report stated.

Operating profit amounted to SEK 10.7 million (-28.6), with an operating margin of 27.2 percent.

The result after tax was SEK 9.1 million (-34).

Earnings per share amounted to SEK 0.11 (-0.65).

Cash flow from operating activities amounted to SEK -28.7 million (12.3).

Cash and cash equivalents amounted to SEK 50.8 million (88.6).

'Our priorities for 2026 are clear: enter into at least one partnership agreement that strengthens revenue and realizes value in the portfolio, ensure that IRL757 progresses according to plan toward data readout in mid-2027, prepare the next clinical study and reach a decision on pirepemat during Q2, and advance IRL1117 with the goal of making the project Phase I ready,' writes CEO Kristina Torfgård.
