FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX Broker) - Investors reacted with clear enthusiasm to Ionos' quarterly report on Tuesday. Shares in the United Internet subsidiary surged as much as 8.7 percent, breaking through the 30-euro psychological barrier to reach 30.50 euros for the first time since November 2025. For the first time since October 2025, the Ionos share price is also trading back above its 200-day moving average, a key technical indicator for the long-term trend. Meanwhile, United Internet shares gained 3.3 percent.
Barclays analyst Andrew Ross described the first quarter for the internet and digital services provider as solid. The net number of active users improved for the second consecutive quarter, rising by 80 percent compared to the final quarter of 2025. 'This should translate into revenue growth in the coming quarters,' the expert noted. Average revenue per user (ARPU) also showed an upward trend./bek/jha/
