Recycling firm Infiniteria has issued a sharp rebuke of tire recycling company Scandinavian Enviro amid an ongoing dispute regarding the company's restructuring and licensing agreements.
The firm accuses Enviro of breach of contract and claims exclusive rights to the technology within Europe. Infiniteria estimates its losses at over 84 million euros and is planning legal action.
According to Infiniteria, the disagreement between the parties is expected to be resolved through court proceedings and arbitration.
'Infiniteria remains committed to completing the Uddevalla facility as soon as possible and to fulfilling its obligations to customers. The company is evaluating all available options to secure the investments made to date, to enable the timely completion of the Uddevalla project, and to pursue its overarching strategy of building a leading European tire recycling operation', the company stated in a press release.
