HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. (bank) announced Reference is made to the Bank's company announcement, HSBC411 published 21 January 2023, where the Bank announced that it had entered into a EUR 30 million loan agreement with HSBC Continental Europe, for a period of 4 years with an option of early repayment as from the 3rd year. Following the regulatory approval pursuant to Article 77(2) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013, the Bank has triggered the clause "Optional Early Redemption at the option of the Borrower" and informed HSBC Continental Europe that the loan of EUR 30 million will be redeemed on 30 January 2026. Loan agreements related to company announcements HSBC392 and HSBC450 published on 16 December 2021 and 28 January 2025 remain applicable.
