Heineken Appoints Carreteiro as Regional President Americas

Heineken appointed Alex Carreteiro as president of the Americas region on Friday, succeeding Marc Busain, effective March 1, 2026.

Carreteiro joins Heineken from PepsiCo, where he currently heads PepsiCo Brazil & South Cone Foods business, the Dutch brewer said. In that capacity, he is responsible for 16,000 employees and 10 regional factories. Before joining PepsiCo, Carreteiro worked for nearly two decades at Nestle, according to Heineken.

Carreteiro will also join the Heineken executive team.
