Health-care companies were more or less flat as traders rotated into defensive areas due to concerns about the data-center boom.

Eli Lilly added to recent gains after the European medical regulator said its Mounjaro diabetes and weight-loss drug could be prescribed to children as young as 10.

A judge ordered Genesis Healthcare to reopen bidding for its nursing-home business, saying she likely could not sign off on the company's choice of a buyer tied to insider Joel Landau after rival bidders and creditors alleged the sale process was stacked in his favor.
