LIPPSTADT (dpa-AFX) - Headlight manufacturer Hella continues to hold its ground amid persistently challenging market conditions. The company, which is part of the French supplier Forvia, reported that its operating profit fell by 1.7 percent to EUR338 million in the first nine months, according to a statement released in Lippstadt. In October, Hella had already disclosed key sales figures, with revenue remaining steady year-on-year at EUR5.9 billion. The operating profit margin also held firm at 5.8 percent. Net cash flow improved to EUR68 million, compared to a negative EUR8 million in the same period last year.
The annual outlook has been confirmed. Management continues to expect currency-adjusted revenue between EUR7.6 billion and EUR8 billion. The operating margin is projected to be around 5.3 to 6 percent. In 2024, Hella generated just over EUR8 billion in revenue with an operating margin of 5.6 percent./err/stk
