Handelsbanken has increased its target price for ski resort operator Skistar to 200 kronor from 190 kronor, while reiterating its "buy" recommendation.
The major bank has also raised its forecasts by 1-3 percent for the next two fiscal years. For the 2025/2026 period, Handelsbanken predicts a 22 percent increase in operating profit, reaching 960 million kronor. Continued positive news flow is seen as supportive for the stock, with a strong season anticipated.
"Skistar reports its Q1 results on December 18--a period that is typically calm before the winter season gains momentum. We expect revenue of 233 million kronor and an operating loss of -490 million kronor, in line with historical trends. The main focus is on the booking trend for the winter, where we are seeing signs of improvement and are raising our target price to 200 kronor," the report states.
